T-SQL Encryptor should have no affect on your server's performance. SQL Server decrypts the procedure once, compiles it and then runs the compiled version on following calls.
Q: Can T-SQL Encryptor be used to encrypt functions?
Yes. T-SQL Encryptor encrypts stored procedures, functions, triggers and views.
Q: If someone attempts to copy my database to unauthorized server, will it work there?
No, without T-SQL Encryptor running on the server your code will merely quit with a syntax error.
Q: What are the limitations of the trial version?
The trial version of T-SQL Encryptor is the same as out fully functional software, however it will only work for 30 days.
Q: What will happen to my encrypted procedures after the trial key expires?
Procedures which have been encrypted with T-SQL Encryptor will stop working.
